Terms of Use

Last updated: June 15, 2026

By accessing or using Globe News Feed at globenewsfeed.com ("the site", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data under GDPR.

1. Service description

Globe News Feed is an English-language news aggregation service. We collect headlines, brief descriptions, and thumbnail images from third-party publishers via RSS feeds and public pages. We do not host, republish, or edit full news articles.

When you click a story, you are taken directly to the original publisher's website. All full article content, editorial responsibility, and copyright belong to the original source.

2. Eligibility

The site is intended for a general audience. If you are under 16, you should use the site only with permission from a parent or guardian. By using the site, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these terms in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to disrupt, scrape, crawl, or overload our servers beyond normal human browsing
  • Use automated tools to bulk-download content, bypass rate limits, or circumvent technical protections
  • Copy, redistribute, or republish our site layout, branding, code, or aggregated presentation for commercial use without written permission
  • Circumvent access controls, including maintenance passwords, admin areas, or advertiser accounts you are not authorised to use
  • Submit false, misleading, or malicious content through contact forms or advertiser uploads
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of advertisements or view-counting systems

4. Intellectual property

Headlines, descriptions, images, and article content displayed on the site belong to their respective publishers and are linked to the original sources. Globe News Feed, our logo, site design, and original written content are our property.

Trademarks, service marks, and copyrighted material from third-party publishers remain the property of their respective owners. Our aggregation and linking to sources does not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with any publisher unless explicitly stated.

5. Disclaimer of content

We provide headlines and links for general information only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of aggregated content. Headlines may be updated, removed, or link to content that has changed since aggregation.

Always verify important information with the original publisher. We are not responsible for opinions, errors, or omissions in third-party content.

6. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. This includes:

  • Direct-sold ads — creatives uploaded by business advertisers and served by us
  • Third-party ads — such as Google AdSense, loaded only after you consent to marketing cookies

We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of external sites linked from ads. Advertisers are responsible for their own ad content and destination URLs.

Details about placements and pricing are on our Ad space page.

7. Advertiser accounts

Advertiser accounts are created by us for approved business customers. If you use the advertiser portal, you additionally agree that:

  • You are authorised to act on behalf of the business named on the account
  • Ad creatives you upload are accurate, lawful, and do not infringe third-party rights
  • Ads must not be misleading, offensive, illegal, or harmful
  • We may review, reject, pause, or remove ads that violate these terms or our standards
  • Purchased view packages are non-transferable between accounts unless we agree otherwise in writing
  • View delivery is measured by our server-side systems and is the basis for billing
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion
  • Account credentials must be kept confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account

Processing of advertiser personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party links

Headlines and advertisements may link to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, or security of third-party sites. Your use of external sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Privacy and cookies

Your use of the site is governed by our Privacy Policy, including:

  • What personal data we collect and why
  • Your GDPR rights (access, erasure, objection, and more)
  • How we use cookies and local storage
  • How to contact us with a privacy or GDPR request

Non-essential cookies and third-party advertising scripts are only activated after you give consent via our cookie banner. Change your preferences at any time through in the footer.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available and updated daily, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without prior notice.

11. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Globe News Feed and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, reliance on aggregated content, inability to access the site, or interaction with third-party links and advertisements.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
